Recently I’ve been contacted by a few companies to create an identity for their business, the normal process was set in motion, email, questionnaire, NDA etc., you know the deal. In my questionnaire I always ask if the client wants a symbol to represent their business.
Personally I find this the most difficult part of the Logo Design Process given the client lives in another country and the only way you can communicate is by skype, email or messenger.
So that’s why I’ve started to look for some inspiration and resources with the intention of improving my techniques and to share the findings with my readers. Let’s begin with some cool and very helpful books, i did not buy them all but a few are already in my possession.
A Guide to Creating Iconic Brand Identities by David Airey
24 Internationally Renowned Studios Reveal How They Develop Trademarks for Print and New Media by Gregory Thomas
A Hands-On Guide to Creating Logos
by Gary Crilley

I hope You’ll find these Logo Designs amazing as well, I carefully selected them across different logo showcases and portfolios based on my personal taste. Below are a few Web Sites where you can find amazing inspiration for your next creation.
